IMASENIC is developing innovative image sensors that will disrupt detection of X-rays and short wavelength infrared (SWIR): large area, high-speed CMOS image sensors for the detection of X-rays as well as high-resolution, semiconductor sensors for SWIR. They will be developed for a consortium that also includes: Idneo Technologies, Laberit Sistemas, Arcelormittal Innovación Investigación e Inversión and Napptilus Battery Labs. IMASENIC is the leader of this project, called FOTOSWIRX.
The project is funded by the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), the Ministry of Science and Innovation, the European Union (NextGenerationEU), the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and the European Regional Development Fund, under the motto: “A way to make Europe”.
